(Fathwir) 35 : 39

He is the One who has made you the vicegerents in the earth, then whoever disbelieved, then his disbelief is upon himself, and the disbelief of disbelievers doesn’t increase with their Lord anything except the hate, and the disbelief of disbelievers doesn’t increase anything except the loss.

Although the Arabic word "Makhth" is translated as "hatred," it also carries meanings such as anger, wrath, and curse, all of which are applicable here. Verse 40: 10 states that those who hide Adhikr will be called out on the Day of Judgment: "When you were called to belief, you denied it, so today the hate of the Lord upon you is greater than the hate you show each other." Verse 40: 11 says they will ask, "Oh our Lord! You caused us to die twice and to live twice, and now we have identified our offenses. Is there any way out of here?" Verse 40: 78 ends with, "On the Day when the Judgment is pronounced with the Truth, the followers of falsehood will be the losers." Verse 40: 85 warns that the belief of disbelievers upon seeing disaster will not benefit them; this is the way and practice that has passed before concerning His servants, and thus the disbelievers became the losers. While reading verse 1: 7, the believer should pray with the soul, "Do not include us among the hypocrites and their strayed followers." Hypocrites and strayed followers come only from the people of Messenger Muhammad, and they are the Arabic Quran-reading Fujjar. See explanation 2: 28; 6: 165; 9: 95, 124-125.
